Middle Level Transition Mission Statement
The mission of the Souderton Area School District's middle schools is the achievement of high academic standards by meeting the developmental needs of adolescents in a school environment that promotes community among students, teachers, and families.

Dear Indian Crest Students and Parents,

The target of the educational program in the Indian Crest Junior High School is to maximize the academic, social, and emotional development of each student and to meet the needs of each learner who walks through our doors. Adhering to the SASD Middle Level Mission Statement and the Indian Crest Vision of staying "connected"…..where administration is connected to staff, staff connected to students, and students connected to Crest…..our goal is to provide learning experiences for the students that promote growth academically and to increase awareness of the responsibilities that go hand-in-hand with that growth. To stimulate thinking and imagination to its fullest extent, a widespread curriculum is available.

Indian Crest is a community where Character Counts! Our goal is to help students understand the six pillars of character which are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. We will be weaving into our academic and social programs The Six Pillars by choosing one per month as a focus. Working in such a harmonious atmosphere should bring about academic results as well as necessary emotional/social growth for our students.

We believe learning is important. It is our objective to provide the best education in the safest possible school environment. Parents may help in this process by being active with the education of your child. Be familiar with and talk about the curriculum, activities, policies, and procedures that make Indian Crest a great school. Your involvement in your child's education is of the utmost importance. The Indian Crest staff looks forward to working with you and your children in the upcoming 2008-2009 school year.

Best Wishes,
Jeff Pammer
