To be in conjunction with the high school, IC’s honor roll criterion has changed to the following for the 2005-2006 school year.
- All "A’s" - Distinguished Honors
- Combination of "A’s" and "B’s"; no "C’s" – Honors
National Junior Honor Society
The James B. Conant Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society has been formed for the purpose of giving proper recognition to those students who excel in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and character. Any student maintaining a 3.85 grade point ratio, who meets the other requirements regarding leadership ability and good character is eligible for membership. They must do a minimum of 30 hours community service during the course of the school year. Members will be selected by the faculty committee. Members are eligible to participate in all chapter activities to purchase and wear the official Honor Society emblems and to carry the official Honor Society card. Members will be dismissed from the Society if they fail to maintain the admission standards.
