History Bee Winners

Tommy outlasted about 95 students in the preliminary written round with the top score.  He then advanced to the oral exam round of 12 and won the competition in round 6.  He then answered the question, "The Battle of Somme, which featured the bloodiest day in the history of the British army, took place in which war?  He answered WWI correctly to win.
National History Bee questions are written and edited by history teachers, professors, and other social studies educators from around the United States.  Question content is split evenly between United States and World History.

Congratulations also to the other top qualifiers, Braden Sigafoos, Max Organek, Joseph Carrasquillo, and Matt Andryushin, who along with Tommy will take the online regional exam in January to qualify for the Regional Finals.  We are very proud of all of our participants!
