October Events:

Anti-Bullying Month - October is anti-bullying month.  We would like to join in the STOMP Out Bullying Campaign to support the World Day of Bullying Prevention.  On Monday, October 5th, we ask everyone to wear Blue in support of Bullying Prevention.

Throughout the month, we will share public service announcements, advisory lessons, and reminders on how to create an environment of kindness and stomp out bullying!

Crest Community Challenge C3 – The Crest Community Challenge has become one of the most memorable middle school events.  It is usually held the first Wednesday in October and is a day dedicated to giving back to the community and bringing awareness of the impact we can have on our community.  The money raised from C3 goes directly to our community members who have come into hardship.  While we are not able to host this event this year, we would still like to celebrate C3 on Wednesday, October 7.

  • On Wednesday, October 7 we encourage all students to wear school colors (red/white/black) or their C3 shirt from previous years.
  • We will have containers in lunch to collect loose change to support the C3 fund.
  • Students will view the video montage of previous C3 days in Advisory on Monday.

Spirit Week – The week of October 12 is our fall Spirit Week.  Each day will have a theme and we encourage students to show their school spirit by participating.  Themes will be shared next week after students have the opportunity to vote on them.

Character Counts Week - Character Counts Week is October 19-23.  Souderton Area School District is a community where character counts.  Each day we will ask students to wear a color to represent the pillars of character.  We will send a follow-up on the character traits color for each day.

Pink Out - Pink Out will take place Friday, October 30.  More information will come on the details for Pink Out!
