8th to 9th Grade Scheduling Information for 2026-2027 at SAHS
Starting January 5, we will begin the 8th-to-9th grade scheduling process during Advisory with a Virtual Pathways Visit from Souderton Area High School. The process will occur over a 3-week span and involve multiple activities during Monday morning Advisory periods.
Key Dates and Events
- Monday, January 12 - Advisory
- Students will receive a presentation outlining all course options for 9th grade.
- Each student will be given their 9th-grade scheduling sheet to complete.
- 6:30PM at SAHS: Dr. Varano will host a presentation for current 8th-grade students and parents at the High School. This complements the morning presentation for students.
- Monday, January 19 - Advisory
- Students will enter a rough draft of their course requests into pathway MANAGER during Advisory.
- Later that week, students will enter their official 9th-grade course requests into HAC during their Social Studies block.
After that week, students will be locked out of making changes online, but adjustments can still be made by emailing their school counselor before April 7. No changes will be allowed after that date.
Additional Information
- Counselors will be available during 8th-grade lunches to discuss course options.
- Students are encouraged to review their preferred courses with parents/guardians before entering requests.
