Important Information for the Start of 2026-2027

As we begin a new school year, we are excited to welcome our students, families, and staff back to campus. The energy is exciting, and we look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and community.

We are currently in Phase 6 of our Renovation Project.  We are excited that our office staff was able to move back into their new space last week!  The project is scheduled to finish the music classrooms before the first day of school and the auditorium soon after.  Our Back-to-School Night is October 15th and is a great opportunity to see the completed phases of the project.

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to improve our facilities. We are confident that these enhancements will contribute to a more enriching and engaging learning environment for all.

We are hopeful to offer an opportunity for students to tour the building on Monday, August 31st from 1:00 – 3:00PM.  We will send an additional email with details Friday afternoon.

First Day of School Reminders:

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 1st.

Our doors open at 7:25AM and the school day begins at 7:40AM.  Students should be in Advisory by 7:40AM.

There will be a student schedule printed in Advisory for all students.  It is helpful for students to know their Advisory room and teacher.  This can be found in Home Access Center (HAC).

Dismissal for bus students is 2:45PM, dismissal for car riders is 2:50PM.

Please click this link for important Drop Off and Pick up Procedures.  Please take a moment to review if you will be driving on campus during drop off and pick up.  We have over 200 students who walk or ride a bike to school, so we ask everyone to be cautious and mindful.  Students who bike to school should lock their bikes at the bike rack in the Main Entrance Parking Lot.

Student agendas will be provided free to each student.

Below is a list of recommended school supplies for students in grades 6, 7, and 8:

  • Binders with dividers
  • Ruled paper.
  • Spiral notebook
  • Pencils / pens / erasers
  • Colored pencils
  • Highlighters
  • Headphones or ear buds
  • Whiteboard markers / eraser

Middle School Handbook and Dress Code

Please review the District Handbook which can be found on our school website.  Our middle school dress code can be found in the handbook and will be reviewed with students at the beginning of the school year.  Please note:

  • E-bikes and E-scooters are NOT permitted on school grounds.
  • Eligibility for athletics / activities has been updated.

Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones are expected to be off and away in a backpack or locker during the school day, which is when students enter the building until the 2:45PM bell.  If students need to contact a parent during the school day, they may use a classroom or office phone.  Cell phones that are seen on a student or out during the school day will be turned into the office.

Wishing everyone a successful and inspiring school year!
