Student Drop-Off / Pick-Up

Please see below for information regarding student drop-off and pick-up for buses, walkers/bikers, and car riders.

Morning Drop-off 7:25-7:40 AM

Buses – All buses will enter Indian Crest through 4th street. Students will be dropped off at the gym entrance and proceed to the cafeteria if it is prior to 7:30. Buses will exit Route 113.
Walkers/Bikers – Students walking to school may enter the main entrance or gym entrance beginning at 7:25 AM. Students should use the sidewalk and crosswalks. There is a bike rack located in the lower parking lot near the main entrance. Students who ride bikes are reminded to lock their bikes at all times.
Car Riders – Students who are dropped off by car may enter the building beginning at 7:25 AM and proceed to the cafeteria until 7:30. Cars may enter 4th Street or Route 113. However, the entrance in which a car enters they must also exit.

If you enter 4th street, once you arrive at the stop sign you will then pull to the left into the car lane. Students will exit the car and walk across the cross walk. Cars will then turn left into parking lot and loop back to the 4th street exit.

If you enter Route 113, you will turn left into the parking lot and pull up along the curb as far as you can. Students should exit onto the sidewalk and proceed in the gym entrance. Cars will then loop back out and make a right to exit to Route 113.

This process should eliminate any through traffic with the exception of buses.

Afternoon Pick-up 2:45-3:05 PM

Buses – Bus students are dismissed at 2:45. Buses will be lined up in the bus lane and students should check their bus location in afternoon home base.
Walkers/Bikers/Car Riders – Students who walk, ride a bike or a car will dismiss once the buses are cleared, usually 2:50. Walkers and bikers should cross in crosswalks and use sidewalks.
Car Riders – Cars should plan on entering and exiting the same way.

If you enter 4th street, once you arrive at the stop sign pull to the left into the car lane. Cars will have to also park along the curb leading to the stop sign. Please do not pull into the bus lane. Once students are loaded into cars we ask cars to make a left and loop around the parking lot to exit 4th street.

If you enter Route 113, you will turn left into the parking lot and pull up along the curb as far as you can. Students should enter cars on the sidewalk side. Cars will then loop back out and make a right to exit to Route 113.
